Yesterday, we celebrated India's Independence Day by watching a movie, Chak De! India. It was a great movie if you like sports-themed movies, and is definitely worth watching even if you don't. Although not about the struggle for independence that culminated in the events of August 15, 1947, it deals with the very real aftermath--prejudice and bigotry that still exists in India today (and in many other countries around the world).
This is going to be a busy week, but I'll eventually get back to a more consistent blogging schedule (I hope!).

I'll have to look for it. Hope the week has been ok.
Thanks for the movie tip i will go put it in my Q. Hope you are having a good week.
Wouldn't you think we'd be past bigotry by now? Sad...it's still everywhere. We humans are hard to teach.
PS...are you on Facebook?
More busy-ness this week...
Seeker, I have resisted Facebook but do use LinkedIn for professional networking. I also recently tried out Second Life, but haven't had much time for it lately.
